Beyond the Norm is a practical guide developed by Diverse Patterns in partnership with the British Council to support accessible arts and cultural events in Nepal. The guide offers clear, local, and easy-to-use guidance for artists, cultural institutions, and event organizers who want to include disabled audiences and artists. Drawing from lived experience, field practice, and global examples, it covers both in-person and virtual events, with tips on venues, communication, signage, and staff preparation. The resource is designed as a starting point for making inclusion a standard part of festivals and events, not an afterthought.
