The primary focus was to systematically document learnings, challenges, and insights from four years of implementation to inform the design of future similar projects and enable broader dissemination of knowledge to stakeholders."

Project Overview

This project focused on collecting and documenting learnings from a four-year Mobile Teachers Project that was implemented by the National Federation of the Deaf Nepal and Handicap International in Bharatpur Metropolitan City and Kalika Municipality of Chitwan District.

The evaluation involved developing a structured data collection tool and deploying a research team to conduct comprehensive field visits at project sites. The team conducted stakeholder interviews with multiple groups including mobile teachers, parents of children with disabilities, government officers, and representatives from organizations serving persons with disabilities.

Following the data collection phase, the team analyzed interview data and produced documentation to capture the program’s effectiveness, challenges, and key learnings. The goal was to create resources that would inform future program design and allow for wider dissemination of insights gained from this initiative.
