Project Overview
The Mobile Teacher Training project involved four educators who operated in the Madhesh Province and focused on enhancing the educational experiences and achievements of children with disabilities. They attended a specialized training program at the Diverse Patterns Training Centre in Kathmandu, which is renowned for its focus on inclusive education and disability teaching methodologies.
During the training, teachers were empowered with insights into various pedagogical strategies, including the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). The initiative intended to provide these educators with the necessary skills and methodologies to effectively support children with disabilities in their educational pursuits.
Further activities conducted during the project included training sessions, field visits to various educational settings, as well as tests and practical applications of the learned strategies. These activities aimed to support teachers in creating a more inclusive and effective learning environment for children with diverse educational needs.
